The mothers and fathers of @llavorsdevincle have been working for three years to make this project a reality, and I am very grateful to have been a part of it. Today is Sant Jordi’s Day for all Catalans, and especially in my beloved town, Puigverd de Lleida, where I have been living for the past two years and where April 23rd is celebrated every year, as it is our main local festival. And although this year is different, we are still celebrating it in our own way, keeping this tradition alive and nurturing everyone’s enthusiasm.

I dedicate this work to all the warrior mothers. I admire you, and I feel very proud to be a woman when I see what so many of you are capable of. Hard work combined with the challenges that motherhood can bring, especially in rural environments. I send you all my love and admiration; this work is for you, rural mothers.

This mural represents my perspective on how simple it can be to transcend time. If we nurture and cultivate today, one day we will be able to see the tree grow tall and provide us with its shade. It also shows how we can teach children to care for the planet through these examples, so that one day the Earth will thank the adults we have left them. All of this can be achieved through a simple yet powerful act.

Des del Memorial democràtic em van encarregar fer un mural en commemoració a les víctimes de l’holocaust, en motiu dels 80 anys de l’alliberació d’Auschwitz, al mateix temps 38 instituts de tota Catalunya han fet durant els darrers mesos un treball sobre la vida de 38 supervivents espanyols que van patir aquesta la barbàrie. Vaig rebre aquests magnífics treballs, que després van nodrir la meva inspiració per fer l’obra.

I created this rural-themed work with complete freedom, and it is one of the pieces I have enjoyed the most. It expresses my roots and is based on a girl who is proud to live in the countryside. I also experimented with spray paint and plastic paint at the same time, discovering a different finish.
